Become a Foreign Exchange student

There, I just came accross a site which is indeed a great find for students like me to whom studying abroad is like a great dream coming true.

If you are a student and looking for Summer Study Abroad Programs, then this site about Foreign Exchange Students is the right place to start from. And that's right whether you are college chap or a Highschool student.

Why I particularly like this Foreign Exchange Students Resource site is that, there apart form all the informations and guidance for becoming a Foreign Exchange Student, I also found informations on how to become a Student Representative (Reps) and find suitable host families and local schools to participate in these Study Abroad Programs.

Or if you are thinking in terms of providing Host Family Homes to students in and across USA, you can directly start right from here.

Foreign exchange students should be aware of the pitfalls of exchange - no fingerprint-based background checks of host families means you don't know what the criminal history is. If you end up in a bad situation there is very little you can do about it excpet return home and lose your money. Students recruiting host families is a very dangerous proposition - their inexperience is exactly what a sexual predator or con artist is looking for - Think about it - wouod you go live with strangers in the next town? How about the next state? A foreign country? It is a big risk that people don't think about - BE CAREFUL PLEASE!
