The first date always is an exciting event. But as you all know, practice can only make it better and better. It is no different with dating. There are some useful steps to follow after deciding to go on a first date with someone. The first thing you must do is inviting that person to go out with you. Email back and forth a couple of times or, even better, have a phone conversation before you make your final move. When you feel ready, suggest the date, also by email or phone. If the person is interested in you, he or she will by all means accept your invitation , so move on to establishing the time and the location for the event. The meeting spot is the next thing to worry about. It would be a good idea to set an open place to meet, like a book store or casual lunch joint. Clothes and accessories are very important in a date, the goal is to impress that person, but casual is the perfect style to choose. Go out and buy some new clothes, if nothing seems to suit the occasion. A small investment into feeling good about your look can always go a long way on the love scene.

So this week's celebrity of the week is...Yeh Charlize Theron.

As legend has it, Charlize Theron was discovered by an agent while fighting with a bank manager on Hollywood Boulevard. Eighteen and starving, Theron purportedly got into the argument after the manager refused to cash her check. The outburst caught the agent's attention, and eight months later Theron got her first acting job. She subsequently went on to become one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood, thanks to a fortuitous combination of talent and the blonde, statuesque good looks so fervently adored by the camera.

Born August 7, 1975, Theron was raised on a farm in Benoni, South Africa. Trained as a ballet dancer, she was sent to Milan at 16 to become a model following the death of her father (which, it was later revealed, occurred after he was shot by Theron's mother, who was defending herself from his drunken abuse). After tiring of modeling, Theron returned to her first love, dancing, which resulted in a move to New York to dance with the Joffrey Ballet. Unfortunately, her career was halted by a knee injury, which led Theron -- at her mother's behest -- to travel to Los Angeles to try her luck with acting. After a long, unprofitable struggle, fate smiled upon Theron in the form of the aforementioned bank encounter.

Cocaine Energy Drink

If those crap sugar "energy" drinks weren't bad enough, a new one has hit the market called, "Cocaine Energy Drink." Yeah, yeah, don't get excited people, the drink doesn't actually contain any of the real drug. So, thumbs up to its inventor Jamey Kirby.

According to ABC News, this Cocaine Drink is supposed to "give a person a "high" coupled with a tingly euphoric feeling within five minutes of drinking it. That initial boost is followed 15 minutes later by an energy buzz that will last five to six hours." Oh, and not to mention contains a "throat-numbing" ingredient that emulates the numbing affects of real cocaine.

Whatever. I'm sure a bunch of you will be like, "ooh I want to try that!" and if you are an adult and you want to put that crap in your body instead of having energy from lets say, eating healthy and working out, do it. But to market something with a name like this, when tweens, teens, etc will be drinking this shit (cuz you know they do), how long before one stupid kid is like, "Ohhh me likey this buzz and my throat feeling all numb, real cocaine must be even better!!" Real smart!

Celebrity of this Week: Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson, born on the 22nd of November, 1984, in New York City, has an older brother and sister and a twin brother. She divides her time between New York with her father, a building contractor and Los Angeles with her mother, who looks out for her interests there. She's the only actor in the family, something she's wanted to be since she was three. Her acting career began when she was eight in the off-Broadway production of Sophistry with Ethan Hawke at New York's Playwrights Horizons.

Scarlett has been in seven movies, the first was North. For her role as Manny in Manny & Lo she was nominated as Best Actress by the Independent Spirit Awards (1997).

She attained worldwide recognition for her performance as Grace MacLean, the teen traumatized in a riding accident in Robert Redford's hit feature The Horse Whisperer, a role for which she won a YoungStar award and was nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award. She has most recently been spotlighted for her performances in the acclaimed films Ghost World, An American Rhapsody and the Coen Brothers film The Man Who Wasn't There. Johansson's additional credits include Rob Reiner's comedy North, the role of Sean Connery's daughter in Just Cause, as well as notable appearances in If Lucy Fell and Home Alone 3. She is currently lensing Brian Robbins' The Perfect Score for Paramount Pictures.

Zune is HOT

While everyone has their sights trained on next year's desktop OS war, it seems that Microsoft is itching to get on the battlefield, gathering troops ahead of Vista's release and taking aim at Apple's digital music dominance.

In case you've been living in some far off land, it's called Operation: Zune.

Microsoft Zune Player includes a 30GB digital media player, the Zune Marketplace music service and a foundation for an online community that will enable music fans to discover new music. The Zune device features wireless technology, a built-in FM tuner and a bright, 3-inch screen that allows users to not only show off music, pictures and video, but also to customize the experience with personal pictures or themes to truly make the device their own. Zune comes in three colors: black, brown and white.

And at $249, it's priced right, too (although they really didn't have much of a choice). And the Zune device takes enough cues from the iPod to guarantee some sales.
