Cocaine Energy Drink

If those crap sugar "energy" drinks weren't bad enough, a new one has hit the market called, "Cocaine Energy Drink." Yeah, yeah, don't get excited people, the drink doesn't actually contain any of the real drug. So, thumbs up to its inventor Jamey Kirby.

According to ABC News, this Cocaine Drink is supposed to "give a person a "high" coupled with a tingly euphoric feeling within five minutes of drinking it. That initial boost is followed 15 minutes later by an energy buzz that will last five to six hours." Oh, and not to mention contains a "throat-numbing" ingredient that emulates the numbing affects of real cocaine.

Whatever. I'm sure a bunch of you will be like, "ooh I want to try that!" and if you are an adult and you want to put that crap in your body instead of having energy from lets say, eating healthy and working out, do it. But to market something with a name like this, when tweens, teens, etc will be drinking this shit (cuz you know they do), how long before one stupid kid is like, "Ohhh me likey this buzz and my throat feeling all numb, real cocaine must be even better!!" Real smart!

So, I decided to start some new and interesting stuff this time. How about "Celebrity of the Week", I asked myself and here we go.

Celebrity of this Week: Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson, born on the 22nd of November, 1984, in New York City, has an older brother and sister and a twin brother. She divides her time between New York with her father, a building contractor and Los Angeles with her mother, who looks out for her interests there. She's the only actor in the family, something she's wanted to be since she was three. Her acting career began when she was eight in the off-Broadway production of Sophistry with Ethan Hawke at New York's Playwrights Horizons.

Scarlett has been in seven movies, the first was North. For her role as Manny in Manny & Lo she was nominated as Best Actress by the Independent Spirit Awards (1997).

She attained worldwide recognition for her performance as Grace MacLean, the teen traumatized in a riding accident in Robert Redford's hit feature The Horse Whisperer, a role for which she won a YoungStar award and was nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award. She has most recently been spotlighted for her performances in the acclaimed films Ghost World, An American Rhapsody and the Coen Brothers film The Man Who Wasn't There. Johansson's additional credits include Rob Reiner's comedy North, the role of Sean Connery's daughter in Just Cause, as well as notable appearances in If Lucy Fell and Home Alone 3. She is currently lensing Brian Robbins' The Perfect Score for Paramount Pictures.

Zune is HOT

While everyone has their sights trained on next year's desktop OS war, it seems that Microsoft is itching to get on the battlefield, gathering troops ahead of Vista's release and taking aim at Apple's digital music dominance.

In case you've been living in some far off land, it's called Operation: Zune.

Microsoft Zune Player includes a 30GB digital media player, the Zune Marketplace music service and a foundation for an online community that will enable music fans to discover new music. The Zune device features wireless technology, a built-in FM tuner and a bright, 3-inch screen that allows users to not only show off music, pictures and video, but also to customize the experience with personal pictures or themes to truly make the device their own. Zune comes in three colors: black, brown and white.

And at $249, it's priced right, too (although they really didn't have much of a choice). And the Zune device takes enough cues from the iPod to guarantee some sales.
